MakerDAO and My Defi Pet Partner to Integrate Stability in gaming and NFT marketplace experience
MakerDAO has joined forces with My Defi Pet, a blockchain game that lets Pet Masters experience financial stability. This partnership includes DAI as the stablecoin in My DeFi Pet’s upcoming NFT marketplace.
Stablecoin has long been a crucial factor for blockchain and traditional game economies due to its stability and versatility. The DAI stablecoin is a decentralized currency which is not controlled by any third-party, helping holders to gain true ownership of their stablecoin and NFTs. By integrating DAI into the game, the in-game Pets (by nature are NFTs) will become organically valuable with DAI and MakerDAO branding aligning with users’ Play-to-Earn interactions.
Specifically, users will be able to receive DAI as reward by completing in-game missions to be an incentive for players to have a more purposeful gaming experience. Upcoming PVE and PVP battle modes with special requirements will grant players chances to earn both $DPET and $DAI.
Additionally, DAI is a popular cryptocurrency for digital assets/NFTs on the market due to its stable value and can be easily transferred worldwide. Therefore, the integration of MakerDao will surely bring stability to My DeFi Pet’s ecosystem in both BEP20 and KRC20 game servers.
